exam hand
-

I think if I had lived in a non-technological age and had been forced to use pens and ink, this would be a fairly common sight. Such is the curse of the left handed scribe. I sat my PTC New Testament 1 exam today and I think the hardest part about it was actually having to write fervently with a pen for two hours - that doesn’t happen so much anymore!
I don’t think I was exceptionally well prepared, and still very, very tired (it has been a big week and my body keeps failing me). I think we all felt pretty much the same, everyone’s been very busy and not had much time for studying. As we read through the paper there was a ripple of exasperated laughter - we had all reached a question with a map and ‘fill in the blanks’; obviously none of us had studied that map…
Anyway, I managed to answer everything. I left with half an hour to spare, and even get to just sit quietly and have a cup of tea before going back for church.

what's it all about?
I'm a Christian. I get absorbed in lots of different pursuits, and my attention frequently gets snagged on whatever latest shiny thing pops into my view. I write, I sing, I design, I read, I edit, I make things, I play WoW, I play piano, I try and record music. And I struggle with depression. This blog is about all these things. And probably other things as well.

It’s interesting that there is a small but vocal sector in the education field crying out for computers in exams because not everyone has the fine motor skills needed for handwriting, and they think it’s a bit backward of the establishment to assume that everyone should.

Mmm, having the same hand issues as Bec I want to agree with the educationalists who want computers for everyone. But there’s something to be said for communicating without a computer. Maybe?!I!KMFDHJSFD
